Fun In Weird Hotels With Giant Fish
My friend Adam and I went on a photo-hunting adventure last weekend. Here are a few shots, but you can view the whole series over here on his blog, Montreal Street Life.
I've also been doing some pencil drawings of algae, jellyfish and other cool organic shape-shifting thingies. I gave some of them names that sort of seemed to fit their personality.

This Week's Inspirationals
Here are some images from library books that I've borrowed and been delighted by:
I was quite happy to find that my school library had Worlds in a Small Room, a series of beautiful photographs by Irving Penn, taken in his portable travelling studio. His photographs always amaze me. You can see more images from the book here.

Haggletooth Snafu
My friend Adam and I made some drawings on post-its at his garage sale a couple of weekends ago while waiting for customers. Adam's great blog can be viewed here - he takes strangers from Craigslist on field trips around Montreal and photographs them.
And some pictures of food:

Stack O'Spanish Leather
Shots from a visit to the Centre des Métiers du Cuir de Montréal a couple of weeks ago:
In other news, the unthinkable has happened... I now have a Facebook page! (An artist page) I don't really know how these things work, I guess you have to "like" me or something. Or maybe you have to "poke" me? I'll be posting more stuff as time goes on, but for now it's somewhere I can post new and old drawings all in one place.
Here's a couple for ya:

Guess how old I is
Birthdayface had a party last week:
Here are some of the collages we made at the party (there are some that were too big to scan, I will try to post them later). You can also see collages from the 26 yr birthday party in 2011 here.

Oh boy oh boy! What nice friends have I.
My friend Lauqua kindly lent me some of her beautiful calligraphy to display here as I was so taken by it:
She was inspired by the calligraphy that she found in this beautiful little gem of a book - a French children's book about deep-sea diving written and illustrated in the '60s, when Cousteau-mania was in full swing.
